endless

have you ever wondered when is your so called "life exams" ends?

heard of preachers saying, consider it purejoy when you face trials and testings of all kinds (james)? with a deep sigh,

"what now…"

it seems never ending and we sometimes feel very tired jumping over hurdles .Gosh! our tired feet just "want a break "- - literally!

the best thing to do if you are in that condition is to :

- stop. shut up and listen. The voice of the holy spirit is comes in a still small voice and in quietness (1 kings 19:11)you are able to discern what He wants you to "hear"

- forget about the so called task or ‘exams of life’ and start breathing! Get down to earth and breathe! when did you last have a breather? we can be supernaturally –natural. If you love swimming, go swim, you like reading , go read. God created everything around you to entertain, excite and encourage you.

" let everything that has breath, praise Him"ps 150:6, NIV Zondervan

just the other day i was at a park, i saw a motionless black crow with its legs sticking out in the air.Obviously dead.I said to myself what a pity. i wonder did it just fall and die ? or crow fight? man that would be the interesting sight but then i came across a man, he dug a small pit near a tree, and bury the dead crow! how interesting!if he can find a preacher , im sure that crow would have a funeral service! haha . life is interesting. God wants us to enjoy His creation, i dont mean the dead crow.you know what i mean. people around you , life. Live it to the full

2 Peter 1:19  …let Jesus rises in your heart far above anything else.

Your exitement awaits you. it is endless series of new hope, new life, new songs and new stuffs.

Matthew 6:25
[ Do Not Worry ] "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?

blessings people!

" s i g h "
judging judging judging..
felt whenever you stand with someone you just wanna stay away?
your guts tells you , gosh this person stinks?
many at times we look at only one point of view : how people will change , act, think &judge like us. pride is the beginning of downfall . are you tired of being drained hanging with proud people?
familiar with these?
————————-
they never think they are wrong..
they seem to be always  - -right.
their face is always craft in lines of sarcasm and silent voices in they minds are all out to wit, laugh and disrespect you?
they judge and condemn everything that moves ..(sadly even the very ones who feeds them )
we have heard of too many casualities of judas in the midst of our leaders .
ungrateful and greedy.
but even before we streamline these judas or so called religious teachers why not start first with us? what kind of judas’ value could we be adapting consciously/unconsciously
- what has rob our focus from God’s kingdom to our kingdom?
notice how God is not in the business of condemning but correcting.
He rebukes .He dont retrenched his own creation..haha..
when will there be a rise of peters than judas?
when will the time of repentance come?
how can revival come when there is no repentance.. how can we shout "repent" when we ourselves didnt check our very attitudes that stink?
teachers are always sharing than keeping "reserved" teachings of God.
we sing , "tell the world that Jesus lives"
how to tell?
when the ultimate purpose of sharing for some is to elevate self than shout out loud credit to Jesus who is the ONE brought about their change?
why condemn His creation, the people around them?
when He repeatedly taught us compassion?
how can He be shared when the very nails they plunge in their teachings or preaching per se are fruits of hate , dislikes than "compassion" and "repentance".
where has our focus steered to ?
thank God for our senior pastor who is a gracious father and his rebukes has brought about changes lives of many, including mine, but somehow there are a few judas seating in the crowd waiting to nail him out for the pride in which is eating them up by bits.
my question to leaders out there is this: have we checked the times of despair :
what went wrong, what have i done wrong God to produce offspring like these?
the best teaching ever and I quote from Ps Henry is " 2 nations are in the same womb" . God is  gracious and slow in anger. all in all , another great papa Ps Charles shared his thoughts :
circumstances helped in shaping character in built by God
waiting to be activated.
many times groanings in my spirit for opened spiritual eyes.
to see that the more they are in service , the more they are to give than  "reserved" God given insight. (Thank God they werent chosen to write the inspired words of God.imagine what kind of cult it would be? gosh ! )
its sickening to know believers are all out in their armour, polishing they armour, stand out in a crowd and forgetting the people with them..they stink in their armour.
do we stink in our armour ? are we questioning ourselves , checking ourselves first before labelling ourselves as imitators of Christ?
do we still dare to condemn or judge others in our "preachings" cos when a mirror is put upfront: they themselves are the one who is holding the stone than being so called teacher presenting preachings which they have not experience the pain of being stoned?
groans of a leader is always present crying for change not only in others but THEMSELVES. there are times we need to go on our knees . check ourself first. have we checked what are these groanings?
can we present them to God?
the anwer is : YES! thankfully , phew!
Godly sorrows brings about repentance.
God is gracious > >  patience is one of the tools God is forming in our lives when all the hardships come. in Ps Charles Popson’s book, " God is not finish with you" connotes that we have to go through wilderness seasons. if we arent careful we might just think it is our PLACE OF PROMISE, it is a deception of the enemy.
let us not be like the Israelites thinking they will never enter their promise land.
always grumbling and complaining.
Let us not give up or be weary in doing good.
let us be assured of this: God is able to steer all channels of challenges to channels of growth in our lives.. we need to check our attitudes. we need to humble ourselves and turn our ways and start having compassion than judgments lenses.
what remnant remains in you?
good? or otherwise?

prints

Paintwhen we have time to review flashbacks of good memories , go dust off old collection of photos or click to the latest shots uploaded to the comp, have we wondered, " do they look back at you?" one print that caught my attention was an old pic with a banner on top that writes " for good times" . in the busy street of singapore, no one saw it but uncle did. all gave their best post and as always hoping to see the print outs like any other pic day. memory prints stored up in mind files of laughter, happy , changes, rough or sad moments, achievements, are usually awaken when we so desired it. but the life within the memory may differ in its meanings..many times we look at a pic and say it was a great shot. God too said to Himself, " it is good" after all His creation. wondered how the people shot in our memory look like or felt? focus always is on us than others. have you actually look at others before yours? or you rush out to see your turn outs before others? uncle pass away few years back and each time i see a tool that he once used to tigten bolts , or an aged man with santa’s belly and chirpy smile, i awaken my blurred view . "what was he thinking when we shot the pic?" no one knew he had a heart problem . he did. he prepared us for his going. he thought not for himself. he thought of us. continuity of " good times together" God never changes. People may that’s why He left us His prints . He thouSplat_paintght of us . Not Himself. Have you looked differently whenever you post a pic? think again.

Picture_031_5 Pride is full of : Problems, Restlessness, Insecurity. Destructive & Exhausive.

* dedicated to ALLLLLLLLL leaders & leaders in the making.

There are many times we try to do things seemingly the best or right …hehe but it is just not good enough.

One thing for sure is PRIDE crept in the way of all your efforts .

Plus being sandwiched with bad flavours of dislikes by "commentators", worst still from your very own sheeps..more so called goats, don’t you think? What are we to do about it? whine, complain ,cry?"spare the rod and spoil the child?" concept would work?- - ahh hemm.. NOT

If so we are in this ditch, one way of climbing out is our willingness to :Die Cliche feedbacks : why not humility ? why end with "die" ? Its not giving up the challenge but giving up : entertaining problems that is piling, the restlessness of attending to ever " i want more of you" expectation cycle issues on their insecurity rebuilding destructive efforts consciously or unconsciously by insecure sheeps exhausive effort of building the characters in them & learn to REST in Him.

One day there will come a time of FRUIT tasting. Then they will understand the correct way of planting, sadly for them , " all over again" with their teacher a.k.a you. the question is : are we willing to repeat all the teachings again? Your answer will determine the outcome of them. Mine : Yup. If Christ went for 1 fr the 99, if just one is caught in the mouth of the lion, he will fight to redeem, what less are you from them? so lets be immitators of Him. Jesus healed many yet they joined in the crowds , " crucify Him!" He responded in death : To His rights & efforts.

Trusting the best out from the time frame He had with the people..the best will come out from it. Don’t give up in hoping for their return, a regeneration, change. God is never far from refurbishing His house. He did mention about making disciplines not entertaining disciples.. our role in keeping them is always packaged with burial of self rights because the resurrection of new breeds is coming.

Now you can breathe :-) Col 3:23

sniff of the day

February 21st, 2007 by choejessica

..There are many scent as we journey life and one that catches most is stench.hehe strangely odor attracts more than perfume…This ties again to our 1st " mindset" .

so true that when Jesus said, which is easier? to say your sins are forgiven or " get up and walk" ? (luke 5:23, mark 10:25 there are others too..) many times we are guilty of passing judgments to people around us than broadening our mindset to kingdom living.

one who pens this is ..one too guilty as charged :P

one sniff we should ask ourself is " have i pour my most expensive jar of perfume on Him who deserves our wages, our hardships and our ALL, our repentance , our tears … "

are we smelly? or are we scented to His fragrance? heheh that i am still bathing…Bathing in His showers of mercy and definately wiping scales of judgments OFF my eyes.. then only we smell good.
